| | Feel pretty good. grass running today. no nothing that hurts, so i'm lovin it! | |
| | not very many people today, but colton and byron stayed with us for the most part, which is good. oh and jared too. |
| | boring running alone. felt decent, and tried to work on a faster pace |
| | very good pack today. i'm lovin how our team is gonna look |
| | felt good again, but forgot about trying to run up on balls of feet for most of it. | |
| | really exhausting first time running in 8000 + elevation. |
| |
was supposed to be barefoot, but unless i ran on rocks and dirt, i had to run shoed up.
oh and i also did the triathalon at camp as a team, and did the running leg. it was one mile out, so you had to jog back in once you got to the biker. it wasn't the best mile, but we still won by at least 30 seconds |
| | was getting a little sore from the day before, but worked on pace and form more |
| | ran alone cause no one woke up. they all said they would want to run, but apparantly not. :) was a nice peaceful run enjoying the nature around me | |
| | nice good run. loved it. absolutely loved it | |
| | pretty nice. good pace and good form. (or at least it felt like it) i rollerbladed while kaelie ran at night, cause she forgot to run in the morning. i wore out my blades, plus my feet killed! i got to find a better way |
| | ran 3.5 flippin miles up a hill, cause theres nothing but hills up here in eden! then did striders when i got back. my legs hurt even worse, but mostly just sore. although my shin did feel a little pulling today, but prolly just cause i coulda broke the world record for the mile while coming back down the hill. |
| | i really hurt from yesterday, but i still was able to get all 4 miles on the grass barefoot. |
| | felt like a champ. ah yah. not as unbelievably sore |
| | don't ever run when you are sunburnt. better yet, don't get sunburnt |
| | great run. felt a tiny bit slow, but hey its monday. jk, no excuses. but i do feel fat from many a party this last weekend |
| | hmm. i can't seem to remember this run |
| |
this one i remember. it twas fun |
| | never do grass loops if it exceeds ten laps!!! but we did happen to go through the abc game twice! | |
| | not a very happy run. i had to run early and alone.... what a stink. plus it was supah hot even though it was before 7 |
| | what a great run! i'm so pumped for this xc season, i feel so much faster | |
| | nice run to start out the week. nothin wrong yet. hopefully never |
| | a good little morning run, but the first afternoon was a beast |
| | ran with coach and steve and ryan. all they talked about was business stuff. i respect it :) |
| |
hey hey hey! count those up and thats how many miles i did today!
| | nice 'ole mornin run. plus afternoon run with weights. plus the always fantastic chlesy's run. overall, a great day. desert hills will really give us a run for our money |
| |
here's a haiku to sum up my run:
Devin ran 6 miles today.
He ran in the sun.
Of course his run was not fun.
| | oh long runs. we threw in a 2 mile tempo at the end, which was decent. i sure hope tyson feels better though | |
| | i ran my afternoon run at 7300 feet! ha just getting ready for camp |
| | high altitude hills stink! and try not to get lost on a run, that also stinks |
| | midnight ish run. saw a girl unconscience. overall, interesting run |
| | stupid hill workout. hopefully hip pain won't stay for long | |
| | good day. 5 in the morning and 5 when we got up to camp. you can totally tell the difference of altitude. |
| | oh what a turrible run. my calfs were caked with mud by the time we were done, and coach and tyson barely had any. but it did seem like we were running in oregon. |
| | what a tasty hill! everyone punched that hill in the face! twas a good afternoon run as well. |
| | the parting run for camp. found bradyn's stuff at the lake. ha |
| | oh man! what a turrible run! for some reason niether me or tyson or jared felt good. |
| | what a run! loved it compared to yesterday! ran up foremaster, but otherwise i ran a 6:30 ish pace the whole time. | |
| | whoa! that was an amazing run! except for the last mile. that was poop. i actually had a cramp for the first time in a while |
| | whoa whoa whoa its majic! you knoooow, never believe summers almost o!(ver) hey it had to rhyme | |
| |
that hill run didn't look intimidating at first. but it sucked afterwords. my stride seems shorter for some reason |
| | i love short days! they make me happy! | |
| | i just love runnin in salt lake, its so much more cooler! | |
| | i think my turnover is faster. i like it |
| | well, i guess since coach said to, i'm counting my warm-up. so today was really good, till after our tempo. the back of my knee starting acting up, but i took care of that with a nice ice bath. its been awhile since i've iced. i think todays 14 miler was a lot faster than last week, or at least it seemed like it | |
| | 6 plus striders plus night run. fun fun. witnessed a sweet drift under a diesel. :) |
| Race: |
cedar all-comers (3 Miles) 00:16:35, Place overall: 3, Place in age division: 3 | | so early four miler, then 7 total for the race. it was a pretty good pack of 6, but i'm sure we still can do tons better. me and tyson both toned it down a bit, but i still felt like at any time i could have raced lots faster. tommy might be a contender this year, who knows. |
| | oh what a day. 1 mile in the morning, cause tyson died. 3 miles after trilogy, and 3 plus striders with deseret hills and others |
| | did 9 miles with stu hills. it sucks not having tyson to push me. casey stepped it up though, so that was awesome. |
| | ran part as the megan birk fun run, I'm quite proud of myself for the course i made. then i just ran other places. felt unusually sore |
| | by far the hottest longest smelliest run ever. the river seems more unclean every year |
| Race: |
PV time trial (2 Miles) 00:11:03, Place overall: 1, Place in age division: 1 | | the first lap i felt great but that stupid grass slowed me down tons! |
| | a 7 miler plus striders. where's mia? |
| |
so i hate doing workouts alone. but that aint any excuse for how poorly my repeats were. either its a lack of working hard, or i'm too lazy with my form, or lack of sleep, i don't know. but i need to fix it |
| | a good little tempo. i think the average was around 6:20 but thats okay. it might not be as fast as last year but at least we are running as a pack |
| | oh yah! we found a handgun(sawed off), a baton, painter smurf, some critters, jareds face, and a cyclopes mask all on the way to hurricane! what a treat! |
| | good little mornin run. nice big afternoon run. umm.... our teams bowels aren't in the best shape :) |
| | thousands stink. had okay times. over all: good day |
| | new workout! oh yah! i like it a lot. still feeling a little powerless though. | |
| | oh dear. what a day. i'm completely pooped. thats right. i said it. |
| | nice easy run with striders. tyson can walk! |
| Race: |
SUU invite (3 Miles) 00:16:32, Place overall: 3, Place in age division: 3 | | oh man. lost to mike and tommy. well that won't happen again |
| | nice run. i thought i was gonna have to run 10 with a tempo. so my 5 miler with striders was supah fun! especially since it was hot | |
| | oh what a workout! a little better this week, but i still need to get that last 1000 up a little. oh and i ran at night |
| | oh track, beautiful track! my love is poured out to you! that workout was a nice break from 1000s |
| | hmm... it took like 30 minutes for my dad to pull out this needle/sliver in my foot. | |
| |
we got to know the region course well, all million of our laps around it will pay off. |
| | oh what horrible repeats of no sleep food or crap of any kind! | |
| Race: |
pre region (2 Miles) 00:12:00, Place overall: 2, Place in age division: 2
well it was a 3 mile race, but we did a tempo then raced, so technically 2
|
| |
sweet. got the michigan A standard the very first time. can't wait for more michigans |
| | oh this workout of 4 30 seconders 3 800ers and 4 1000ers are not my fav. although we did do very well at stayin together. |
| | so an easy 5 miler with 6 200s behind the hospital. pretty sure that there is more traffic back there than there is on the streets of st. george. :) i'm a pretty good aim with my spit i must say. landed one right on mikeys calf. hiliarious! |
| |
